The George Glazer Gallery is known for the large selection of antique and vintage globes from tiny pocket models to large floor globes, and also including planetary models, celestial globes and novelty globes.

Prints, Art & Books

Decorative arts objects to accessorize your home or office: leather-bound books and library furniture, scientific instruments, gavels, banners and plaques, and some items you just don't see every day -- the stuffed raven and the funhouse mirror are sold, but we do have a miniature horse stall, a golf club made from a World War I battleship propeller, and a clock made from a frying pan! Valuing and Selling Your Art and Antiques: We receive a large volume of e-mails every day inquiring as to the value of a particular antique globe, map or print. Many people own or inherit interesting old objects and artwork, and naturally they want to know what these things are worth. We are not certified appraisers, and regret we cannot provide that service. Also, it would not be possible to ensure an accurate appraisal of an item without seeing it in person. However, we have put together this document to educate the consumer as to how to go about obtaining a reliable appraisal.
