A pair of bookends, each in the form of a world globe with orbiting rocket, on rectangular plinth with impressed slogan: HELIUM FOR THE SPACE AGE/ National Helium Corporation/ 1963.
This pair of bookends was issued early in the space race, apparently as a corporate promotional item for the use of helium as rocket fuel.
