Pair of photographs of the United States Geodesic Dome Building designed by R. Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983) and built for the United States pavilion at Expo '67, the 1967 World's Fair in Montreal, Canada, on Île Sainte-Hélène. One photo shows the interior, the other a detail of the exterior. Geodesic domes are constructed from standardized, interlocking geometric shapes, with no internal supports. Fuller was an American architect specializing in experimental constructions.
Hugo Gnam was an architect and modernist artist who worked in a variety of media, including pastel, furniture design and photography.
