An unusual golf course marker in the shape of a heart, painted red, with the number 7 painted in white on one side to indicate the 7th Hole. The heart is mounted on an iron spike to be inserted in the ground, and surmounted by a loop handle. This marker was probably intended to mark the tee for the 7th hole or to serve as the pin to mark the hole on the green. It is possible that a heart shape was selected for use on a golf course at a resort catering to honeymoon couples.

Condition: Generally fair to good for a utilitarian object, the paint with some chipped paint losses and some blistering paint, the iron spike oxidized and with some irregular bending from use.
